My friend and I have been talking about this, but does anybody have any idea what the whole 'Bad Wolf' thing was about?

I know that it's a sign that followed Rose and the Doctor throughout the first series, but why 'Bad Wolf'?

Any thoughts would be nice.  Remember, there's no such thing as a stupid answer just a stupid question...hey!
